A cool spring in Ampatuan, on ground the Teduray hold as a sacred hunting ground.
Kilantan Spring is one of the tourism sites the Maguindanao del Sur provincial government lists for the town of Ampatuan. The name comes from klan-taen, a word meaning chaos, drought, the dry season or the absence of water.
The province describes the place as a sacred hunting ground of the Teduray, the native inhabitants of the area. A 2026 Manila Times column on the province's lesser-known places notes the spring's cool water and the greenery around it.
